Custom steering wheel for BMW 5 Series M5 F10: coverings, carbon and steel

The covering is a choice of smooth leather, perforated leather or Alcantara®. The carbon finish can be gloss, matte or forged, and the steel parts are offered in metallic or black metallic.

Process

The customer starts by entering the model, year, generation and version of their vehicle. The original steering wheel is then dismantled, and its buttons and airbag are retrieved to equip the custom steering wheel. The airbag is not included with the part.

Only the design changes: the part is still an original steering wheel, whose base comes from vehicles that are out of service and has been refurbished.

Is the number of steering wheels unlimited?

No. The steering wheels are recovered from vehicles that are out of service: their number is limited and tied to stock.

Yes. This information is among the first requested, before the steering wheel is assembled.
